A very cold and disrespectful welcome The receptionist got annoyed that I was early and made me wait more than 45 minutes in the waiting room, even though she wasn't busy: she didn't appreciate that I was early. After an interminable wait, she finally took my ID but didn't appreciate it and just asked me to leave. Big lack of respect! I wasted my time!

So I come in today with my spouse and while we both are waiting in the sitting area one of the workers came walking up to us and asked us to come inside a room. Once we get in the room he tell us that I had to go sit outside in the heat and wait without any explanation why or anything but he said that his supervisor told him to come tell me.I have no ac in my car and there's no telling how long it will be. We have been waiting for a hour and 30 minutes already. The staff are very disrespectful and rude!

I would like to share my horrible experience here. I came here asking to sign up to be a donor,I waited for the gentle man in front of me to finish getting signed up,and he was treated unfairly . So when I was next in like the Chinese lady said ? ugh ,I can't keep doing this ,I'm the only one here ,you're just going to have to come tomorrow? . The only reason why I am not giving a 5 star rating is because of the behavior of the majority of the employees and how they are unprofessional like speaking ill of a very good employee in front of donors and how they also at times have other inappropriate conversations in front of donors. Worst attitudes with the exception of a couple people. Be prepared to spend atleast 6 hours your first time going. One girl in the back I guess she's a shift leader or something but she has the nastiest attitude and very clearly hates her job.

I've been a loyal customer for many years and I am disappointed with the policy that if you don't finish your donation due to you running out of saline you ony receive $5 for the donation. Even, if you only have one cycle left to complete the process. If, I wasn't hydrated enough to complete the process then I should have been notified while doing the pre-screening process. Terrible policy. I will never donate here again. There are other places that I can donate.

Most of the staff here is friendly and I'm very relaxed when I donate here! The place is clean and organized. The only complaint I have is their short handed very often and the wait is ridiculous at those times.! The manager is very polite and tries to make sure everyone is comfortable to make up for it. The staff members are very helpful and quick. There was a time when I was having complications and they made sure that I was calm and ok throughout the whole process. Even after the incident they would ask me how I was feeling today and that made me feel more welcomed to come back.

They don't need a star at all!!! When I got there, there was an older lady sitting at the front desk, she had the worsest attitude!! Plus they were short of staff. Then I get to the back they said they couldn't find my vein in neither arm after I waited for two hrs. They didn't know what they were doing and they also had attitudes!!! The worst donation center around. Long wait times, rude staff, and unsanitary conditions. Last time I went one of the phlebotomists used a glove still stained with another donor?s blood to feel my arm, and today the machine malfunctioned but instead of fixing it they ?readjusted? the needle in my arm until it started burning and swelling. Horrible time management and too much willingness to do nothing. Was there more than 2 hours (one on a bed) before being stuck to start the donation. Wasn't many donors at the time. Just no sense of work ethic or care to provide an expedient experience.

Today was my second donation! Everyone is very nice and seem to really care about your comfort. The wait time was a little long but they can only go so fast and be thorough when so many people show up to donate. I'm very pleased and recommed people to go. Saving lives and making extra money!

My first experience was sometime in Jan 2021. I was really nervous knowing the last i donated blood I had to stop early. Not a fan of needles. I couldn't look at the procedure of inserting the needle. Anyways i get started and i start to get hot flashes and light headed. Ms. Aisha took care of me. She talked to me from the beginning and during, constantly answering my questions/concerns! She recommended a ice pack which helped tremendously. This is the best plasma place Ive been too yet. They are friendly and helpful and most importantly CLEAN!!! They are also quick and don't waste no time. I really give up on going donate plasma in Baton Rouge because I had poor experiences at the other two centers but this center is really top ?? tier. I will continue to come here and donate.

I try to come before 3 pm you can be in and about 1 hour 15 minutes. That's like making $38/ hour on your first donation. With the price of gas everyone could use some tax free money ?? these days. It's a smooth simple process too

Called to make sure they were accepting new doners got told they were accepting until 4pm I drove an hour to get here got here at 1230 for them to tell me I had to wait until 4 now instead of telling me on the phone when I asked, they hung up on me when I called back about this issue from the car asking for a manager just to express my irritation and poor communication skills in this facility. I went to donate plasma today this was my 5th time going, they were short of staff & they had the WORST attitude ever they claim that the arm that they usually stick veins were too small & they told me I was un stickable and I couldn't donate no more because of my veins, after multiple sticks in my arm,I talk to the boss and all he did was defend his staff and only gave me $5 for 256 worth of plasma that was already in the jar I WOULDNT Recommend this place to no one they also lie about bonuses.

Not sure why it's posting under my girlfriends name but my name is daisha carey I've been donating for about 5 years on and off . I've never had. Bad experience with them. I recently made a deal with my girlfriend to donate blood 4 times (her aunt has a few health problems and donated blood helped save her life recently) so I went in only to be told that I can't donate blood because of the placement of my tattoos which is totally confusing to me... It's been years since I have gotten a tattoo and I have great veins , part of the reason my girlfriend asked me to donate ... I just found it extremely weird that they would turn someone down because they have tattoos on the crease

I was checking in and at the front counter the the gentleman left my SS Card and license on the counter for everyone to see. I MOST DEFINITELY DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLASMA CENTER! THEY DONT WORK WITH YOU OR LET YOU SLIDE WITH NOTHING! They Slow and make any excuse not to let you give plasma! You can have a valid ID with a Baton Rouge address and they still won't let you give if you don't have proof of that address lol! If you don't have a social security card they won't let you give even though you know your numbers! Usually any other plasma center will let you give the first time and then bring the mail back nope not with this one

Had two bruises on my forearm and was told to use my other but after getting seated into the donation chair, and an hour and a half wait, I was told I would have to come back another day. Waste of time

I had an excellent experience with this donation center, I had never given plasma before, and they were so friendly from the first time I had gone in there. They made the process so easy and simple, even though I had been told at every other center that my veins were not suitable for donation because they were small, but they have had zero problems and I really appreciate them.

I absolutely love Biomat and I'm incredibly grateful that I found this plasma donation center about 3 months ago. I would give no stars at all, but that was not an option. I walked in and in less than 2 minutes they said I couldn't donate bc the ?needles won't hold?. I have shallow veins or small veins, but have donated plasma before multiple times. The woman who assisted me was pretty rude and also seemed lazy. She didn't seem willing to help and turned me away. I wouldn't recommend this place if you know you have shallow veins bc they won't feel like working to help you.

Update: After four years of donating plasma, I was permanently deferred because I failed to wait seven days before donating after having veneers put in. No extraction, no root canal, just install of veneers. But I had donated twice each week for a month+ before even being questioned & they were very aware. Recently tried to donate plasma and was rejected because I have tattoos covering both my arms. When asked why, they said it's because "the ink will get in the bloodstream". I was a medic in the army for 6 years, and I've never heard of such thing, and I just went to octopharm and they took my plasma. If you want to be handled by a competent phlebotomist, go to Octopharm, not here.

Unprofessional and racist. I was turned away because I was the only white woman in the building and profiled because my DL was slightly cracked. My ID has been accepted by my doctor, police officers, and the food stamp office because it is not expired and is a valid form of ID. Staff is very helpful,everyone is nice and the pay is great ,never had any problems

I wouldn't return, they play around a lot they bruised both my arms and half of them don't know what they're doing I had one girl admit to me she was afraid to stick me because she didn't know if she would mess up that's not anything you tell someone you have to stick also on some of my days I was due to come back if they had a crowd they would lie and say my day to come was the next day when I first started coming I brought along someone But they had similar problems so they also stopped coming

Grifols is a great place to donate plasma and save lives!, The workers are friendly and the whole staff team makes sure the job gets done quickly and most importantly SAFELY.

The ladies here are so friendly and they also have great promotions all the time..

This my last time coming the workers are slow and do more talking playing and associate more than they suppose to..! I was skipped over twice and I'm a new donor..! But I'm going to get my $75 and I'm out!!!!
