The staff are friendly!! However, the switch to the new machines are horrible! Also they reduced the number of beds in each bay. I understand they may be understaffed as well, but it is created an incredibly long wait time. Each time I come now there is no improvement.
It's not bad only problem I have is my pulse was off by 2 points had to sit sitting for 35 minutes because they forgot about me so of course my pulse went up more after being frustrated from sitting so long? n the older black lady throws me off something weird about her but wasted my time today
Came in to try to donate and stood for about 15 minutes, being ignored by all staff. I tried to politely call "excuse me" back to the staff in the new donor area, wondering if they just haven't noticed me, only to receive a nasty "I'm with someone" in response. Tip for anyone reading this, Biolife pays way more and the staff is actually friendly.
I walked in, filled out a paper, and watched a 20 minute consent video. Then I sat there for literally another hour and 10 minutes waiting for the next step, with no communication from staff until I asked. While waiting, I downloaded the CSL app to get ahead, and learned that you don't even earn $100 a week. I also overheard one of the nurses complain about being understaffed. They also don't make appointments, like Biolife does. So I left with nothing but wasted time. I will find a way to get to Bio
Omg I have been donating here on and off since 2010 some of my favorite workers are phlebotomist Tia phlebotomist jazz CSL manager Ashley is one of the best managers I know whenever I have any problems or concerned I take him straight to her and she addressed them right there and then Fred is another one of my favorites along with netnet Vicky Carolyn the list goes on phlebotomist Christopher Savannah. Heria and taniqua is another great employee I can't forget about Mr Eli he is a great nurse these lovely p
Bed bugs everywhere in here. The staff are racists, and it's nasty in the bathrooms. If the staff does anything wrong, it's automatically your fault not theirs. Oh yeah check the bottom corners in this place you'll find bedbug nests.
This location is a joke and a waste of time. Employees stand around talking about what they did last night and when asked for help will say someone will be with you as soon as possible, but can't be bothered to stop their current conversation.
I went on Monday, and had the best most pleasant check in that I've had in a long time. My check in person was baileigh. She was fast and efficient, and super nice. I've never had an issue at csl. But I highly recommend baileigh booth for check in.
DO NOT COME HERE! I've been donating at this plasma center for more than 5 years. My last donation was more than 6 months ago so I'm considered a new donor. I go in with my social security card, my lease agreement, and my drivers license that is in the paper form (since I lost the envelope with my new ID in it) but I use the paper ID for EVERYTHING and it is a federal document and doesn't expire until sept 2031. The lady who checked me in was mean from the start. She's black with very long and dramatic eyel
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this CSL location. The staff was unprofessional, with one particular employee displaying an unhelpful attitude. Additionally, they failed to respond to my inquiries in a timely manner, resulting in it being too late for me to donate. This has been, by far, the worst experience I've had at any CSL center, and I would not recommend this location to anyone.
All I want to say is that it is very ironic that the same week they started using new machines that the donors fee was decreased. Seems to me that they are making the donors pay for the new machines....just saying
I love going to the plasma center in Dayton, Ohio. The staff is very friendly and helpful and I appreciate the opportunity to get to know new people. I donate quite often. They keep their facility clean. CSL is the best thing for me to do especially when I have some time on my hands.
Very strict dress code that is not even listed on their website. This would have been my first time donating. I wore modest pajama long pants and a t-shirt and I was told I couldn't donate with pajama pants due to risk of bedbugs (since when did bedbugs choose what type of clothing they decide to jump on?). I chose not to come back and go to the Hamilton location.
The people at the first time are rude and unhelpful I went in genuinely just wanting to donate and help and said it was my first time she walked away mid talking to me she was rude and very unprofessional
Called twice to get information about donating and not a single time. Did anyone pick up the phone? I literally just had a few questions to ask your place of business. Just pick up your damn phone your.
I love the way Kimberly actually seemed like she was willing to tell the truth, no matter how brutal. I can sense that in people and she definitely seems like a person who would tell you the truth no matter what circumstance it came too. Plus, she was really helpful and actually helped me understand some values that I never did before. As a bonus, she got straight to the point. She had no hesitation in getting us done and out so we can get done in a more swift manner. Most of the staff here is very nice, a
Some of the staff were super nice but other than that I don't have much good to say :( Some kind people but had so many problems with the actual donation process. My first visit my blood flow kept stopping but it took long amounts of time for anyone to come help me. I was back there for about 1.5 hours after being told it would take 45 minutes, and it STILL wasn't done. The machine kicked off maybe 5 separate times. I had to use the restroom eventually and then got a ?deferral? placed on my account for need
They have all these employees but yet can't answer a phone , sits there at vitals and just talks to other employees instead of moving the line but most of all can't answer a phone. Been calling for 3 hrs straight and they won't answer the phone. Like if your nurses can't answer the phone maybe hire someone who can sit at the front desk and answer calls it's not hard.
Been donating for almost 3 years now everything about this place is great. and you can refer people and earn even more. money placed on card as soon as your done
The place is great. But my only problem is, I have to drive 30 minutes to get to it because they made the choice to shut the one in springfield, Ohio down. That caused a lot of inconvenience to everyone in that town, including myself. You should really reconsider opening one at a new location In Springfield. It'd help out a lot of people that had been loyal donors for years, I myself being one since 2010
Great place, all staff are always friendly and extremely helpful. There one of the busiest locations I've seen. Large volume of people donating and workers there still go the extra mile to accommodate all donors. Wish they had more like this one. Instead of 5 stars wish I could give them a 10 stars review! Also Megan the operation manager and her team at this location have a great flow of how to do stuff in my eyes. If I could I would give them bonuses on their amazing work.
I love this CSL!! The staff is kind and professional. I look forward to checking in and talking to Nan and Tierny. It's great to see them and catch up every week. They treat you like family! The donor floor has great people, Austin, Allanna, Tia, and the entire staff. They care about your safety and comfort! I wouldn't go anywhere else!!
New donors use code 12LX9CPUPI for an extra $50 after your first 5 donations! I've not had a problem here at all. Every employee is professional and respectful. For those wondering donating plasma is about the same as donating blood except you can get up and drive home as soon as you're done. No dizzy feeling or needing to eat sugar.
Center is mostly always clean. Some staff is kind and courteous. Often times you have people standing around talking instead of doing their jobs. After you've finished donating you have to raise your hand to get their attention to unhook you. Sometimes left having my arm raised 5-7. Some look at me and then turn away or walk away and I'm left waiting.the woman?s bathroom doors need fixing. They do NOT lock! Only one that does is handicapped stall. I am thanks for my donation when I'm done.
Been a donor for years It's frustrating that I have to change outfit specifically to come into this place. We'll get deferred for gender based clothing discrimination it's quite frustrating to feel like an adult being policed like a teen got forbid your back show or you wear anything other than a tee-shirt with bra and jeans to make them comfortable.
Tried to donate plasma and the nurse told me that having cereal and toast isn't an acceptable meal, and tried to send me home to eat something else. I'm not sure why if you want donations that you would be this rude and unhelpful. I won't be making this mistake again
I've been donating at CSL for the past 2 1/2 years in Columbus. But the Dayton Ohio location sucks!!! It is full of nice people besides a few at the vitals check area. They straight up lie to you. My pulse was a little high the first check. They told me I could go home instead of waiting there for 15 minutes so I did. I come back later that day when my pulse is lower. Drive all the way there to find out they deferred me. And said I wasn't allowed leaving. The lady said she didn't tell me that I could leave
Almost every employee here is built out of pure attitude and condescension save a few, which is astounding given only maybe a handful can stick you properly or use a computer without needing supervisor intervention. Sense of urgency is nonexistent, even when you're bleeding all over their equipment. Go to Griffols or BioLife if you don't want to feel like some trash inconveniencing them by just being there.
I've been donating plasma for close to a decade now. Donating here for about a month. This place is as good as it gets. Patient, professional staff who all do great at their jobs from what I've seen. Shortest wait times for my preferred donation time. Every center after noon is swamped with donors. I've been to several companies in different locations across ohio and I can say that this is my favorite.
Tried calling multiple days in a row to see if they were accepting new donors and they just unplugged the phone. The first time we stayed on the line and let it ring after pressing 0 to talk to staff. After 3 minutes we were met with the disconnect beeping. Thought it was an error and called again got the disconnect beep everytime since.
The most disgusting plasma center in the city . The staff is completely rude , they keep digging the needle in your arm after you basically beg them to stop and then they berate you for it . Management is just as terrible. Everyone in the facility has the nastiest attitude. The center is completely filthy , especially the bathrooms. Do not donate here . You will have a horrible experience. Go anywhere else but here .
Every time I come the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They take time to make sure you are fully taken care of, and you become like family. Best representation of a clean and staffed company
I've been donating for at least a year now and my experience has always been great. The workers all around are always nice and makes sure the poking process is smooth for. If I run into a problem, they usually respond right away to make sure I'm ok. I love CSL Dayton location.
They messed up the placement of the needle and I couldn't get my blood back. Now I can't donate again until February. $50 for the trouble. Avoid the morning shift at all cost. They don't know what they're doing. EDIT: haven't been able to donate all week because their broken scales are saying I've gained 11 pounds in 3 days. Avoid this place if you can.
I enjoy donating at CSL plasma. The staff is always friendly and professional. They keep patients moving in an out very efficiently so I have never had to wait more than 20-30mins to be seated to start my donation.
So, about 10-11 YEAR ago, when my step father, this guy my aunt was dating, and I used to go donate Plasma here, the guy dating my aunt got deferred on a PROVEN false positive. Unfortunately because they were living with my family and shared an address with my step father and I, we also got deferred. It was supposed to be a temporary thing. Cue to 2-3 years ago, after I've moved back from living in Texas and back in Ohio, I try and go back to start donating again because it was a quick and easy way to earn
They are so anal when it comes to clothes etc anything. Like they make it seem like they don't want the plasma. I'm so serious I use to donate regularly I just got tired of dealing with the staff so I barely ever come anymore. it's like are my joggers more important than the plasma
STAY AWAY FROM THIS GLORIFIED HUMAN BUTCHER SHOP! THEY GIVE 0% CARE ABOUT YOUR PAIN AND SUFFERING! THE NURSES AREN'T REAL, AND THE pseudo - PHLEBOTOMISTS ARE ENTRY LEVEL! I've donated here for twenty years on and off, and never had one single problem with this place, even on its worst day up until now. There are some decent phlebotomists that really know their stuff and I had no problem with them in the past. The place has gotten really shifty over the last few years, go anywhere but here, seriously.
The staff here is great. I'm about to hit silver tier for the year here in two donations, so I'm there a lot. I can't understand why the low rating here on Google, but the low score definitely doesn't do this place any justice. I've quite literally NEVER had a bad experiece here.. I've been donating for 5 years and have made over 5000 dollars, all while feeling good about myself knowing what I'm doing helps people. These people (the staff) are doing God's work, and I think people (mostly the negative re
I am coming from the Springfield facility and I think the Dayton one is better. Its bigger, staff are very friendly. New donors have a long process to go through that can take quite awhile. There were 3 people in front of me and only one nurse doing physicals. She was very quick and friendly. I was in and out in 3 hours. Phlebotomists we're professional and quick as well. I'll be coming to this location from now on.
By far the worst CSL, A very rude staff which is understaffed none the less that has little to no regard for the donor whatsoever. Especially when a donor expressing they are in pain and get irrate that you spoke up about, and start digging the needle into your arm and turning you into hamburger in the process and then get angry, and snippy saying they've been up since 2 am while imsisting on putting the needle in the other arm; then after you deny that ,you're the bad guy instead of a life saving donor. Be
I had went twice now and both very pleasant experiences. There was only one time when they was checking my vital that the lady just handed me a re-take form and I went and got into line to donate because I had no clue what was going on. The one who took my vitals didn't even tell me what I needed to do. And also I had a FREE PASS and it was pretty much wasted because they was hooking everyone up before me because they called us all at once. So pretty much wasted my free pass
Camryn is very nice and always does well. She stays busy and gets her job done with compassion. Never have had a horrible experience with her. Can't say that about everyone that works here, there's a ton of attitudes working and sometimes make you feel unwelcome. Good job, Camryn.
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLASMA CENTER! They are extremely under staffed. Got there and got in line at 8:00 and didn't sit down to donate till 10:00. The girl who originally stuck me messed up and the machine was beeping and on LOW. I had my hand raised hoping to be helped but was ignored until someone finally came over and changed the needle and stuck it into the other arm. I had went to bathroom while waiting in line but had to go again because it had been so long waiting in the lines to get to donation. The wor
Very clean and organized. The staff is very fun and upbeat but also quick and efficient. Ive been coming here for at least 4 years and never had a problem.
It's a great service for our community, but the wait and pay does not match up. From time you check in ,till in a bed for donation. Is getting slower and slower. 2 hour wait ,then a 35 - 45 min donations is ridiculous to expect of people.
THE Lines are way to long. Before they closed Springfield I would be in and out WITHIN an hour and a half. Now I am there 2 1/2 to 3 hours, which is Managements fault. The employees are all friendly and good at their job. They are just majorly understaffed which causes the LONG LINES.
Quite frankly, I don't understand why any complaints? I been going here off & on for two years. Staff has always treated me with dignity and respect. They have always been polite & respectful. Always courteous and understanding about my my being deaf. They all and always go above and beyond to overcome the communication issues. These are good people and I love each and every one of them! ????
Fast and friendly?. This is also one of the cleanest Plasma centers in Dayton
Update: Nov 13. I inquired with the staff about the Veterans Day t shirt. The wonderful ladies found one for me. Really makes my day when people go above and beyond. Small thing can be huge in another's eyes. I am a dedicated donor. Tawnya and Jess are wonderful ladies. I appreciate their professionalism and courtesy. They are both valuable assets to CSL plasma. Give them raises. They deserve it.
My experience was pleasant enough overall. My complaint is that they are not upfront about the time limit you have to receive new donor rewards. Obviously it saves them $ to not tell us that but it would be better in my opinion to be upfront with people. You don't know everyone's situation & we shouldn't have to share our business with strangers just to be seen as human. It's very difficult for me to leave my home & mask for over an hour in order to donate & i definitely wouldn't be doing it if i could get
I am surprised this place has 2 stars. My experience was wonderful. All the staff (nurses, phlebotomist, assistants) were extremely friendly. It was such an amazing experience. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable.
I was told to come back on the weekend because they didn't have time for me after work since I'm a new donor. There are 7 of us waiting, all new donors. I have been here no less than 30 minutes waiting and no one has even acknowledged me. Or most others. Finally a woman comes out and says they aren't taking any more new donors today. They close at 3. It's 11:55. Ridiculous.
It was really friendly and smooth. I didn't have to wait to be seen at all, zero hassles, and a wonderful worker named Tawnya assisted me very well thru the process! Wonderful staff !
I have had great experiences while donating at CSL Plasma. Very friendly and fast as possible getting the process done. Kimberly was great and pleasant to talk too.
They are amazing very kind and caring. Extremely clean and they do their best to make sure you are as comfortable as possible I've never had any issues here ??
1st I just want to say that the doctors & nurses that were there were amazing and really nice and that the place was very clean. 2nd this place really doesn't deserve all the hate that it gets. Plus the wait time isn't really that long. It's only long if your a new donor which will probably only have a wait time of maybe 1-2 hours but the process ( as in doing all the set up and exams ) will probably take another hour and that's if their not busy which hey can you honestly say the wait time is any better at
My first visit was today and everyone was friendly. Everything moved Pretty quickly and the staff was informative. My only issue was some of the staff was unprofessional speaking loudly across people about getting drunk and how they were understaffed. The understaffed issue I sorta understood but other conversations made me a little uncomfortable.
Good experience in most occasions depending on who you get at each section vitals I recommend Kimberly she is always sweet and kind every time sticking process loran and Austin are great at their job the staff just like anywhere are usually a reflection of how you treat people they do with long periods on their feet so just remember how you would like to be treated again good experience process goes quick when Jess is the manager
This place has zero regard for the donor. The donor is left unsupervised and desperate when assistance is needed. The staff that collect the plasma treat you as an annoyance rather than a life saving donor. There are supposed to be one staff member per no more than 6 donors supervising the donors and the process . In not one instance is this regulation followed at CSL. I will never again subject myself to this ridiculous place.
Once again, rude customer service! Just watching the employees have a general condescending attitude towards really makes you wonder why the keep them when they clearly have good employees who do their job well and have excellent customer service skills!
Ridiculous experience. App told me I had to set an appt. Set one for 5:30 pm, showed up at 5:25. Sat in the new donor area til 5:40 before someone asked what I was there for, the continued to inform me that they don't take appointments, walk ins only, and that new donor cut offs are 2-3pm because they take FOUR hours. Wasted time getting there and back as well as the gas to get there. Why is it not listed on the site or the app that you have a cut off for new donors, and that it takes four hours to do so? R
I have no idea why the review on this location is really bad. I can say all good experience with this center. The staff are busy but they make sure to attend you on time. I am donating again because of this experience plus you get paid. It took us 3 hours for the first visit but that's just because of a long process and the reason behind that is they wanna make sure you are eligible and meet all the requirements prior to donation. They are just doing all their job and ensuring safety for the donor and ofcou
Nothing about this experience so far I have liked. The staff are rude as hell first off. Today is sunday, August 30th 2015. I came in here as a first time donor yesterday, I called at 1pm to see how busy they were, I was told to come on in there were only a couple of people here. I get here about 130, the waiting room is filled. I don't even get seen by the nurse after almost 3 hours of waiting, therefore they call me and 2 others up and give us an "express pass". Already furious I waited that long for NOTH
I've been donating for 5+ years, yes there's some philbotomists that I prefer, but overall it's a great source for a little extra $$. It's paid immediately and you can go when it's convenient to your schedule. Easy access off I75 @ SR 4 & Main St very centrally located.
It was my first time here and after reading the reviews, I have to admit I was hesitant. To my surprise, the experience was a good one. The staff here was so friendly and helpful. They walked me through every step and made sure I understood the process. The first time does take a few hours to get through everything but it does go by pretty quickly.
Noah and Eli and Stephany were great .they made me feel at ease with my first time donor experience. Noah is awesome.he was by himself and was working all booths multitasking while being very friendly and practicing safe cleaning habits.
If you go first thing in the morning you'll have the best success. They are typically more staffed, and capable of being more helpful and less frustrated by their long day. Coming in later means attitude and lots of pointless waiting because they have less staff. One nurse to cover new donors and return donors with health questions seems like a recipe for frustration for everyone involved.
Jess was very kind in answering my questions. She was professional in performing the proper steps to get me ready for donations. I am satisfied with her customer service.
I don't post very many reviews but I felt the need to share my overall experiences with this center. I have been coming to this location for a few months now and it seems like the main concern is the staffing. While a great amount of the staff have a great individual personality, professionally speaking, they are not so great. A lot of the staff here spend more time talking within themselves than acknowledging donors. If you speak with a staff individually, they are generally polite and kind, but they tend
I was there Saturday. Kinda nice but also rude. Told my first time would be 2.5 hours it took 4 hours. Because of this I passed out. They said I didn't eat or drink enough trying to blame me but it was they fault for holding me for 3.5 hours in the new patients area. I will not be returning. Not worth it. I will gose else where. I do this for a sick friend not for the money.
Been donating around 6 months now and I have had a very good experience here at Csl. The staff is very nice and friendly. I highly recommend Csl to anyone. Help save lives! Lives matter!
Staff overall professional and attentive to clients. I feel welcomed and they greet me by name. Any issues I have had where minor and addressed immediately. ***Add on** One of the staff members Sarah has lost all my confidence. My machine keep stopping today 05-05-19 She took here sweet time to attend to my alarm and even set up a machine while I was alarming. Even Fred asked what alarm is going off she acted as if it was nothing until then and turned to me and said I am coming..??She came over looked at m
I went into CSL plasma at 2:00pm , they did not even acknowledge that I was there (which was my first time) or help with the sign in process, so after sitting there 35min I finally find a lady to ask if I sign in or what should I do and she helped me. I then had to sit an additional 2hrs just waiting and watching people see the Nurse before me. Finally once it was my turn the lady at the desk tells me she is going on lunch so she goes and comes back, when she gets back she tells me it's my turn to see the n
Had my first donation done today! I loved donating and helping someone in need of plasma!! The staff helped me so much more than I could have imagined!!! Great experience and wonderful staff answered all of my questions and I thought it was going to be worse than it was, it's really not that bad of an experience to help someone in need! ????
Even one star is far too generous a rating for this establishment. First of all the costumer service is non-exisitant. Will wait 10 mins to even be helped. The first time I came to donate they told me I couldn't because I was wearing a dress. The next time I came back to donate, I waited 3 1/2 hours, only to be told nearly at the end of the screening process that I could not donate because I was nervous about donating. Who in their right mind wouldn't be anxious about being stabbed with a giant needle? If
Been coming here for years they super polite fast & efficient on getting patients in & out. Highly recommend if you're in the Dayton area.
I was told to come in...........After I had called and talked to someone. The last time, I had went to CSL was before the new building was built or had moved. I got deferred back in 2011 for something and was told it should be okay to come in because it was so long ago. I get there today, trying to help and getting a bit of help myself. I was told the deferral was some kind of permanent and couldn't be lifted. Thanks for wasting my time, gas, and energy, for something that happened so long ago! SMDH
Are you looking to waste your time? Look no further, this place will have you go through their lines twice just so you can denied for having a bruise they created on the last visit. It's always something that make you have to revisit I actually went back and spent 1 hour waiting for a Nurse to confirm my bruise was gone, she didn't update the system and it took another hour to be seen again. I ended up not having enough time to donate plasma. This place is worste than any DMV I've been to. Called corpor
I want to say that my experience was pleasant with the person who worked with me, even though I was not able to donate due to my veins being to small. However, my husband was not treated well. He presented a cable bill as proof of address, and was told that wasn't good enough. Then he presented an old medical bill which had proof of address. She proceeded to make him open the bill (not necessary to prove address) He explained and even showed the worker through his My Chart that he was seen for a COVID scree
Clean and professional. They made the onboarding process very easy. Everyone is nice. Never going back to the Hamilton location.
Went in for the first time today and I had expectations of this taking some time. But I didn't expect a 4+ hour wait time which I was told. Technically, I'm still waiting to complete nd just by observing what I'm seeing. It looks like this location is very understaffed just by the volume of people. The staff seem very friendly and knowledge despite looking visually irritated. I hope this goes well.
Tawnya is Super friendly and very professional ?? All staff is Amazing. I've had all my questions answered promptly. ????????????????????????
These employees don't know how to do their jobs, period. I have only heard excuses since I've been here. Train the staff you have to AT LEAST know how to do their jobs!! Then if they weren't soo frustrated all the time they wouldn't b so rude.
they wouldn't let me donate because I had a Band-Aid on my finger that I couldn't take off from cutting my finger the slightest bit open on Christmas. Also made me take my hoodie completely off when my arms were clearly showing which made me uncomfortable.. the blonde lady who was doing my booth was incompetent.and they deferred me for 2 months bc i wouldn't take the bandaid off my finger
The staff are amazing, they treat me like family everytime I come in, weather I'm the last person for the evening or the first in the morning
I have been donating for over 5 years here now. Best to be there at open so u can get in and out quickly. Since springfield closed the waits have about doubled
Great, friendly & welcoming staff from the screeners, phlebotomists, nurses, assistant manager & center manager! Awesome teamwork! Makes you want to donate everyday if possible! Keep up the great work! Kudus! ????
Staff is rather impatient with clients at the service. Many seem simply tired of being there and as such only adds to a hostile environment. Many are clueless as to what they are supposed to be doing and instead of going to find someone that can assist them they sit there talking to one another. Gossip is also a big topic there. Prepare to wait for extended periods of time and possibly be discriminated against.
The staff was incredibly rude. Horrible experience, walked out before even donating due to the staff. My friend and I went to go donate plasma together, walked in with no mask and not one person said anything to us. We continued through the whole process with no mask and stayed together as they directed us. Then we were about to donate, and were harassed to stay away from each other and put a mask on. When the entire time we were together which was directed by other staff members for us to stay together. We
Stephanie is the best, when she sticks me I don't feel a thing. She ALWAYS have a positive attitude and is very caring to me.
Jess W. is always sweet and friendly . She's knowledgeable in her job and makes you feel comfortable
To say that my experience has been absolutely horrible is an understatement. I had a donation complication that caused me to have to stop a donation. I was told I would to to ve cleared by the Dr to donate again and that would be done wed 6/30 by 12. I called around 2 on the 30th and was advised I could donate on the 1st only to get there and find out I need a medical clearance to donate. I spent 45 mins waiting but was cleared by staff to donate the following day 7/2 (today). To my surprise this was the se
everyone here is SO sweet and helpful! I unfortunately, had a bad reaction to donating. I passed out and got sick. They ended up having to call 911 :/ but, they did everything they could to make sure I was okay! They brought me water, juice, crackers, snacks, and candy. They were SO nice to me and made me feel like I was not a problem. I would love to come back but I'm unsure if my body would let me lol :/
The worst plasma center I have ever used. They know nothing of operating a business efficiently. What should be an hour long process usually takes 2-3 hours. The employees spend more time talking about things unrelated to work and less time focusing on the job they are paid to do. I gave them one star because google requires a review of at least one star.
First time donor complete registration which I was told would take 2.5 hours MAX. It took 4 Came back the next day to donate, went through vitals just fine and in to wait to donate, they have no system. I waiting about 45 minutes just for two men who came in AFTER me to be up BEFORE me .Some of us donors have real jobs to get to and use this as a little extra cash. we waste time waiting just for people who can came after to go before us then we have to leave after waisting time waiting bc we have REAL jobs
My screener was super polite and insanely fast and my phlebotomist who got me in a bed made sure the procedure was flawless without any worries or issues
Got me in and out. I had an experienced person who stuck me. Donation took 45 minutes. Overall easy to complete. Thank you ??
Been coming here for 6 months because I needed the cash. In that time I have interacted with 2 professional and courteous staff members. All the others have been utterly rude and dismissive and incompetent. Don't come unless you absolutely have to.
I give all the credit to Sidney because she is the best workers that I've ever have met she is very talented smart and friendly and she definitely knows what she is doing and she is definitely my favorite person at Csl :)
Tawnya always has a good positive attitude and always cheerful likes to make jokes and laugh I always have a good time with her the staff in general is great
On august 5, 2015 one of the Csl plasma workers randomly walked up and pulled a needle out of my arm and didn't have any gauze in her hands. She and all of the workers including the manager on duty at the time watched me bleed for almost a full minute from a open vain. I said to the girl why aren't you getting gauze to apply pressure and she just stared at me, then I yelled for someone to get gauze and they still didn't respond until I almost completely went unconscious and one of their workers tried to wal
Not interested in your side of the story. Even if you aren't an 'obvious thug'/trailer park dweller with face tattoos convinced they're trying to clone you with your dirty needle, they will effectively treat you as one. The same across 3 different CSL centers all of which have been reviewed by myself, plus Talecris. If they say you were being rude, it doesn't matter what your side of the story is, whether you show apology or any attempt to improve, or any evidence beyond 'a staff member said it' so all sta
I've never had any problems. Fast everyone is friendly. The people who complain are probably the ones who don't follow directions. Your suppose to drink water eat fruits you know the basics before you donate so you can flow faster that's with any type of blood donation. And csl more strict with the rules as they should, they do use your plasma for medicines for crying out loud. People will always find stupid excuses to complain but you can't please everybody. I like it highly recommend!
I have attempted to donate twice this year. The first time I was refused because I was waiting on my new drivers license to come in the mail. Today I cannot because I donated 25 years ago under my maiden name. They said I have to bring in proof that I got married 24 years ago. This isn't a genealogical testing process. Why in the world would I need to bring you my marriage or divorce records??? I've wasted my time again. Ugh.
Kimberly is one of my favorite screeners she always made great conversation when I'm in her booth for 2 minutes
Great place to go. Employees are kind and courteous. I have been going here for almost a year. Really nice place and clean.
These "workers" won't change their behavior until people stop putting up with it. I urge people to stop visiting this location until CSL Plasma issues a formal apology, and changes out the problematic workers. If you refuse to abstain from engaging with this location, just know that regardless of your situation, you are part of the problem.
Donating is so rewarding and easy! Screeners like Kimberly make check in super fast and easy and she always makes sure I understand the processes!
After reading all these Personal experience reviews I do have to say that I have not had any experiences like them. I have been going here since 2008. I have had a reaction once and the4 staff was all over it, comforting me and making me feel safe. I recommend this place to anyone.
The doctors and staff are professional, knowledgeable, and understanding. It can be a little intimidating your first time, but stick with it. It gets easier.
They're great ppl , I talk to all of the workers it's so down to earth.& pretty quick
I love coming here the staff here are so friendly but my favorite one is most definitely Kimberly at the desk when your checking in
Waited in line for 15 minutes, then got yelled at for going to get someone. Now I'm going to be late to my appointment to get free furniture we desperately needed. Thanks. Great first impression.
I was turned down because of my zip code. The list of accepted zip codes did not include mine. I was told it was a decision made by Corporate and would have to take it to them. No phone number or email address given but was assured they would contact me. I'm still waiting. I can't understand why my area or anyone's area should be declined. I've been living at the same address in a nice suburban neighboor for 29 years. It makes no sense.
The staff spends to much time talking to each other... To understaffed for itat. No flow, manager blames doner filterr clogged... Don't ask if it feels right don't try to fix the problem just keeps turn the machine down already been here almost 3 hours and now going to take another 45 minutes easy... Not good
Id give zero stars if I could. Absolutely worst customer service I've ever experienced.Ive donated at CSL Plasma for over 8 years by the way and never experienced treatment such as this. I won't be returning.
Jess is the best at csl plasma center. She is very kind, sweet, and very friendly everyone should come see her take your time and try to get to know her and everyone else as well
Please don't come here they don't ever answer the phone
Some of the crew seems like extras from The Walking Dead. Shuffling around going slow, especially when it's busy. I never had problems until some woman stuck me too far and created a knot and a massive bruise. Haven't been back since. They also take too long, that whatever you ate beforehand might not be enough (so be prepared for that).
First time donors you will have to have at least 3 to 4 hours to spend on the process, to see if you qualified. after that you will go to the floor where they will take your blood or plasma , there will be about 40 minutes minimum. I should not go on weekends for first time. The phlebotomist seems to be professionals with a few exceptions. If you are lucky on your first visit they will explain you all, if not the phlebotomist will do it. if you are going for first time , please eat or you will pass out beca
I'm here right now and they're very loud and goofing around. It's a bit much. I feel like in a place where you're trusting people to stick a needle in you that they would be more professional and it would be more quiet...
One of the worst facilities I've been in lately. Been trying to get my monet for all of 3 day with nothing but the run around.... then they wanted to try and fight me over it (physically) Find another.
This place is a joke. I have now wasted $10.50 on the bus and 10 hours of my time. I was told today that if they do ever let me donate they will give me an extra $5.00 for my inconvenience. I'm poor, not stupid. Why would I waste time making a 4th trip? This place is nothing but an excercise in futility. I hope I can help prevent others from going through this. When it comes to their staff, the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. Sincerely, James Mulvaney
Kimberly was amazing I love this place! I recommend it to all my friends who need a little extra cash throughout the month
I've experienced some mishaps, however, it really just depends on you. If your able to get there bout 30mins before they open, you'll be outta there in bout 70mins. Also, you gotta for real drink water. Makes a good difference in donation time. But I did have one TERRIBLE experience that made me quite for over 6mos.. I was set to recieve my $80 bonus on my 8th visit, but during my 7th donation, the girl poked and prodded my vein so bad it, she caused a major bruise, and the bruise screwed me outta my $80. A
I am appuald at the staff. An older woman checked my veins and had dirty cloves on. I could tell do to the stains on them. Good thing my veins are too small. I feel like dunking myself in a bucket of sanitizer. Please please retrain your staff for the safety of all. BTW I am a phlebotomist and know my veins are perfect they are just deep.
Decent place with relatively friendly staff who try to be quick and efficient as possible to get you comfy and out of there.
Very understaffed!!!! Also can be rude when trying to ask a question... Threatin u wit deferment when trying solve problems! Quick to tell someone to go donate at the salem site if they feel anoyed or in a bad mood!!! Need new mangement to supervise their employers .
Very efficient. Actual donation took1 hour on machine. Seating for awaiting donors would be nice. Lined up on wall.
I love the friendly staff at CSL plasma center as a disabled veteran I've been going there for a year and the money i received supplements my income .
UPDATE: 7/9/2020 There has been sbsolutely no response to anyone's fears about giving plasma. It is real INPO. Anyone who would give plasma, and has not done so based on the numerous negative reviews like me, has not been any reason to believe that they've read these reviews and cared nor have had anything positive to say to change their personal opinion. Just my 2 pennies. They have such a bad reputation here that I am afraid to go. There are other complaints on other websites about the bad experiences a
I love csl plasma They are always so friendly and kind. Tawnya up front was amazing and so sweet. ?
Horrible experience. They wrecked my arm on more than one occasion and would be weeks between donations because of the bruising. Take my advice go to Biolife. I've had no issues donating there.
Kimberly and the whole staff are absolutely amazing. Very caring and helpful when you have any questions.
Kimberly was the nicest person. Super sweet smile and welcome heart.
Slowest plasma center ever! I went to the CSL in Columbus for 3 years and was rarely there more than an hour. I have been to Dayton a few time and always there at least 2 to 3 hours, not even worth the money! They are always short staffed.
Every body is really kind also really friendly from the time you step in till the time you're done and leave
Csl plasma center has the best workers I never had any problems and I never give them any problems I love coming here to donate I wouldn't go anywhere else 5 stars for you guys
Every time the short black lady sticks me my are is black and blue for three weeks nobody else ever has a problem
This place is the absolute worst. The employees are rude they do not give you any information or they give you wrong information and because of this they have caused me to waste my time and gas. Both my friend and i who went in have been hurt from the same worker when she put the needle in. Ive since gone to a different place and two workers from this other place both said they have worked at csl and have told me that the new emploees are inproperly trained and have screwed them over on pay raises. This pla
All was well until a new chick set the machine up wrong, I'm glad I looked at the cup filling up w/ blood on the first draw!!!! So thn I was deferred for 56 days, & wasn't told until I went bk a couple days later & was told I was told I was deferred, given fluids to replenish, & told to sit for 15 mins... NOT tru!!! Another donor
Most of the worker's are not very friendly and seem to need more training. I had a softball sized bruise on my arm for about a month from 1 visit. I will never go back!
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. After dealing with some really rude staff, I got turned away after like 20 seconds of them not being able to find a vein. Basically just wasted gas to be insulted for half a minute.
Be patient. Expect to spend 1.5 to 2 hours here, but the staff is kind and attentive. Ask for Tiffany she is the best!
some of the staff are very rude & disrespectful. i don't understand why you work at a place your SAVING life's but can treat the customers like a 2 yr old . Should really work on staff and the pace .
When the going gets tough The tough keep going
Make sure you don't bring your kids because no one under 18 is allowed in the building. Also be sure to have proof of address and social security card with drivers license/state id.
11110 times better than Grifols Talecris. Nice staff, the televisions have the volume on, couldn't even feel it when the lady stuck me!!! Love csl.
Went as a new donar two days in a row i was turned away first because i didnt have proof of address came back the next day then was turned away again because i was acussed of being on heroin which I have never done in my life I asked them to do a drug test on me but they still denied me anyway its pretty sad that u cant even do a good deed during christmas time the lady at the front desk is very rude and power hungry Was having a conversation with the person who brought me down as I did not want to drive ho
Very rude had me sit there almost 2 hours then told me I couldn't donate. Didn't even check vitals or anything. DONT GO HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO WASTE TIME
This place works on a very professional level. It's a refreshing relief compared to the last CSL I went too
The staff where I donate Plasma , are profession, friendly, and Fun to be around. The facility is clean, attractive inside and outside, safe, with ample parking. CSL Plasma is a great business, that helps you the donor, by giving you a monetary incentive, to help people with life threatening diseases. Also you as a donor of Plasma gain the benefits, of better health, from the one gallon of water, and better eating habits necessary, to produce the life saving Plasma you donate per visit. The one gallon of wa
Floor staff if the best upper management needs to more proactive about lines and short staff other plasma centers seem to be able to handle croissant and efficiently move people in an out
I can see how this place got horrible ratings because of staff I got turned away because of my zip code I have no idea what zip codes has anything to do with plasma especially it not being mentioned in any criteria before wasting my time going there. Pathetic.
There's an old woman in there, do not let her hook you up!! Everybody else can hook my husband up and it goes smooth, she messes his arm up every time, and his arm hurts for a week after!! They need to fire her!!
Zero stars!!!! THEY ARE ALL RUDE!!! BLEW MY VEIN OUT LAST YEAR SO I CAN NEVER USE THAT ARM AGAIN!!! MY HUSBAND AND I WENT IN SAME TIME FILLED OUR CONTAINERS THE SAME TIME AND I WAITED ALMOST AN HOUR AND STILL HADNT COME OUT SO I WENT IN AND GOT SCREAMED AT THAT I WASNT ALLOWED TO CHECK ON HIM!!!!! THEY HAVE ZERO PROFESSIONALISM OR CARE FOR ANYONE!!! I WAS HAVING PANOC ATTACKS WORRIED ABOUT HIM AFTER WHAT THEY DID TO KE LAST TIME AND THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE TJE DECENCY TO LET ME KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH HIM!
Love Kimberly doing my vitals, she is so friendly and welcoming
The staff here is fantastic haven't had a problem with 1 yet Tawnya is the best. ~JshawnW
They about the community who come in to donate.but there not enough staffing and sometime it is a hour waiting. Just to donate sometimes fwo.
When your done they leave you there to sit so they can do 1-3 machines no ones on before they unhook you alot of them have attitudes barely anyone greets you it just seems not to be a happy environment they talk to you like a child and get rude if you do something maybe you didnt know you couldnt do so instead of just letting them know the rules u get attitude with it
I love kimberly at vitals she is great whole staff and building is great.
Was accused of smoking and smell like marijuana after I repeatedly told them I do not smoke! I highly don't appreciate that.
Very welcoming, clean, incredible care for patients 7 out of 10 ??
Good place they really have improved the staff since a year ago great staff usually in and out within 1.5 hours the have a random drug testing in place so keeps the drugies out for the most part
Was her this Saturday and they decided to change the hours now the hours on the website and from the actual place are a hour off, there sign needs to be on the very front doors not the back. Had to sit outside in the cold because of wrong information
Very slow. Waited in lines for over an hour. Not efficient whatsoever. Worst CSL Plasma i?ve ever been to
Called to ask if they was open, considering we are in the midst of the holidays, for a friend of mine and was told " No I just got the phone transferred to my house because I'm bored " super unprofessional happy I don't need to go there 5 thumbs down ????
I really enjoy the staff ...I am not the best joke teller but they laugh anyways ???? clean and friendly faces ..makes it a great experience ??
People were nice but wish they had a list of medications that are disqualifying...i wouldnt had went and sat there 3 and half hours to find out!!!
Kimberly was very patient and helpful during my donation..
Very slow. I thought go in to make a few extra $. Spent 3 hours sitting there and they couldn't get my screening process done. Many people walked out.
Hi I had went to the plasma center today and had a great experience with Jess today!
Slow to provide services to 1st time donors. Got here at 12:30 pm and after 10 minutes finally acknowledged my existence.
The place is bias against guys who are feminine !!! That really sucks yeah the people were nice but they wouldn't let me donate blood this place is sad. But there loss
Love it here they get u in and out Jesse is great
Have a great experience that my CSL Plasma in Dayton the receptionist Kimberly was great very friendly
Great place, just feel like it would be much better without the guy Lee there he's a supervisor and the weakest link.
Awesome staff!!! Ms Kimberly made my experience worth wild.
I've never donated before and called to get some information and the woman was beyond hateful and rude. I wouldn't recommend going and treated like trash.
Sat there for an hour and got yelled at by security for grabbing an extra snack.. left after an hour of sitting and not even being acknowledged.
I love everybody here, very nice and cooperative. PLEASE DONATE YALL!/ Micah
They ripped me off and deferred me cause there machine missed up not professional about anything they do management are very disrespectful
Sitting in the parking lot now got denied to be a new donor because my state i.d has my middle name on it but my SS card doesn't. That's rediculous!
My brother and I had an excellent experience here the staff was fantastic it was our first time and we found this to be a very good experience.
Make $100-$125 first 4 visit then $55 from then on. Nice people. Safety first
Definetely a good place. Good enviroment caring nurses and staff. Treated with care and very helpful through the whole process
Really need their systems updated let alone they get mad at you for speaking your mind and also wanna make you see their nurse for no reason just to make you wait longer
Excellent facility. The employees are always kind.
Kim is my absolute favorite person to take vitals!!
Employees are always nice, great place to go. Nice to know i can help those who need the plasma. And get help in return.
I was harassed for my ID only when picking up a friend. I was followed to my car and harassed in my own vehicle. Terrible place to go!!!
Staff is rude everytime ive went, i was told i would be in and out but everytime ive went ive been there for 3-4 hours.
The staffing has always been friendly and informative
Kind people. Polite and caring in the way they serve their patients
This place is absolutely horrible. The employees are incompetent for the most part, the nurses have no idea what their doing and the service sucks. Don't go here.
Nanette and Tierney are wonderful and always smiling.
Jess & Tawnya are so sweet & friendly ! Love them!??
Very professional, fast and caring. Clean, well kept, and reliable.
Friendly staff! Been coming here for years and seldom disappointed.
Staff dont care if youre waiting for 30min they have 48 beds but only use 12.
Very clean atmosphere best donation center in my opinion ??
The staff is very friendly and have always gotten me through the process in a timely manner.
Today I have a worse service by Nancy, around 4:00 pm. Maybe she is very tired ???? 0.001per 100 RATE
I love coming here tiffany Lisa Fred Stephan she and others are amazing they make my donation exciting??
This place doesn't ever answer the phone
The staff are very friendly and clinic is clean. The place is very organized.
Staff is either indifferent or downright rude, poorly staffed, long wait times. Not worth the trouble.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
